CNN’s Sciutto Sees Obama Policy as ‘Utter Failure’ in Middle East and Afghanistan

Written on September 30, 2015 at 4:31 am, by Support

On Tuesday's New Day, CNN Chief National Security Correspondent Jim Sciutto tagged the Obama administration efforts to train Syrian rebels as an "utter failure" and he as CNN substitute co-anchor John Berman recalled the scant results of trying to build up Syrian rebels as opposed to the more substantial troops and weapons Russia has supplied to Syrian President Bashar Assad. The CNN correspondent saw a similar "indictment" of the Obama administration in the aftermath of the Taliban's recent seizure of Kunduz in Afghanistan.

FLOTUS Flashback: Woman Asked for Help at Target ‘Because She Was Short’

Written on September 30, 2015 at 1:42 am, by Support

Wednesday, People magazine published an interview titled “The Obamas: How We Deal with Our Own Racist Experiences,” in which Michelle Obama claimed it was due to racism that a woman at Target asked her for help to get detergent from a high shelf.

“I tell this story, I mean, even as the first lady, during that wonderfully publicized trip I took to Target, not highly disguised, the only person who came up to me in the store was a woman who asked me to help her take something off a shelf. Because she didn’t see me as the first lady, she saw me as someone who could help her. Those kinds of things happen in life. So it isn’t anything new.”

However, two years ago the 5′ 11″ first lady told David Letterman it was because the woman “was short,” saying, “I thought I was undercover. I have to tell you something about this trip though. No one knew that was me because a woman actually walked up to me, right? I was in the detergent aisle, and she said, I kid you not, she said, ‘Excuse me, I just have to ask you something,’ and I thought, ‘Oh, cover’s blown.’ She said, ‘Can you reach on that shelf and hand me the detergent?’  I kid you not…And the only thing she said. I reached up because she was short, and I reached up, pulled it down. She said, ‘Well, you didn’t have to make it look so easy.’ That was my interaction. I felt so good.”

“I noticed that the two seats next to me were taken and this couple looked very annoyed and I could tell by their body language sitting right next to me that they weren’t thrilled about sitting next to Rylee,” Rebekka wrote in a Facebook post.

When Rylee started to cry just before the plane began taxiing, Rebekka asked the flight attendent if she could move up a few rows to two empty seats, so she could have a little more room with her child. Read more…

Chewbacca toilet paper dispenser almost makes up for single-ply

Written on September 29, 2015 at 4:35 pm, by Support

Chewbacca would never stand for single-ply toilet paper

But if you are forced to use a public restroom, that single-ply paper is made all the better by a Chewbacca toilet paper dispenser. Every pull gives you a Wookiee roar that can is sure to be heard outside the door (or, you know, a noise that is all too familiar).
